Johnny Swing

An alumnus of Skidmore College and Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, Johnny Swing has been creating art professionally for two decades. Although presently a New Englander, he spent the majority of his career as an artist in New York City's eclectic East Village. His Obsessive Furniture pieces can be found in the permanent collections of notable museums and art centers around the world.
Johnny Swing's magical ability to re-purpose materials in new and exciting ways has led to an successful career -- creating furniture and interior environments for the corporate offices of companies known for their creative vision. Whether he's welding together thousands of pennies in the form of a chair, or assuming the role of team leader on the popular television series "Junkyard Wars", Johnny Swing is truly an artist for the 21st century
